I'm guessing that lots of people have had similar roadblocks as me - because there's no life manual for putting your creativity out into the world, especially if (like me) you don't come from a family of creatives. Knowing the psychology helps sometimes, but it does require giving myself a strict talking to.

There's no other job quite like writing, in all its various guises and permutations - and i would do it for free if the world suddenly allowed Universal Basic Income. Until that time, we must steel ourselves against the malelstrom of self-doubt and hesitation.

And the flightless birds do get a lot done - but we also have the same hesitancy and second guessing. Not so much on Medium anymore, but certainly still in the TV and film world. Keep at it my friend :o)
