I'm just generally curious about people and I rarely worry about being offensive. So I don't mind asking what racial mix people are - ironic really, given I refuse to answer that question on here. I think you can determine a lot about people from asking about their childhood experiences in particular and so those are generally my go-to discussion topics. If people want to be offended because I've asked about their heritage, that's on them - no offence was meant. The most beautiful person i've ever met was a mix of Irish and Indonesian - such an amazing blend of ethnicities and such interesting and striking colouring. I asked immediately and I was not disappointed :o)
