I'm not a parent, but if I were I'd make exactly the same choice. Except I'd probably fill an e-mail account with stories and pictures across their childhood and then give them the password when they were eighteen. But that's because I'm big into genealogy and any children I do have might find that a little bit cringe. Who knows - there should be a manual for this sort of thing. :o)
