I'm not above a bit of sensationalism. I sort of hope people come for the clickbait and then stay for the rationalism. The pendulum is beginning to swing back - that's why I've dusted off my Medium account and returned.

It's been wall-to-wall identity politics in every publication since they arrived, the demos is fatigued and looking for something new. I'm hoping that can be a rational middle ground liberal society that embraces change and tolerance, without weaponising offence in an endless pissing contest of niche interest groups.

Pipe dream. But here's to bringing the Penguin out of my self imposed exile. :o)
