I’m not in favour of something which states its conclusion upfront, it becomes a lesson in confirmation bias. It seems to me that children should be taught how to apply critique to information they are presented. Question, debate and argue - not have polemicised opinions foisted upon them. That said, the curriculum of most countries does need an overhaul.
Conclusions about whether America is racist or not should be drawn by the children after the lessons. We seem to be forgetting we live in the digital age - children are able to access information about almost anything. We must equip them to test the veracity of the information, not have baffling circular debates about what information should be presented in the 25% of the time their learning is directed.
