I'm not sure you're going to be able to get Marxism and Trans-rights to slot together neatly. Being trans is not a class issue. I'd argue that being from a working class and Trans puts you at a significant disadvantage - but this is true of all minority groups. Being from the bourgeoise or the upper classes offers protections not available to those from the working class.

I'd argue that what we're seeing in the modern discourse is a conflation of Marxist economic theory with identity politics. This is at the heart of what is wrong with the political left at the moment. It cannot decide whether it wants to be an economic argument or an identity one - and it's failing at both.

The problematic nature of the trans vs class thing can be summed up with the question 'What does one do with Caitlyn Jenner?'

As an aside, I like your spirit. I don't have to agree with your world views to appreciate your passion - and I sure don't agree with a lot of what you've put here... but the world is always better when people spend time explaining and debating their positions rather than screaming nonsense from ideological bunkers.

You're a fun opponent O'Dwyer, consider yourself followed. And let me know your pronouns. For what it's worth, mine aren't relevant.
