In fairness though; it was already a place where anyone did shit on an entire race and nobody batted an eyelid. Arguably until at least the 1860s or perhaps even the 1960s. I don't think reversing the stakes is the answer - but there also does need to be sufficient acknowledgements of the antecedents.
