It is interesting to think about the ages of different people in society and I think you've hit the nail on the head there. There should be an upper limit on the Presidency because, as is happening in Iran, there is a failure to adapt sufficiently quickly to an ever changing world. What can you know at 83 about the problems affecting a woman of 17? You may as well be an alien.

Different times are (in some ways) like different countries, they come with their own cultures and they come with their own problematic thinking and their own flawed reasoning. Someone born in 1933 and 1983 and 2013 have very little in common with each other, even though they may all be alive at the same time. There is an over emphasis on wisdom and under-emphasis on innovation.
