It was a spell check thing. I'd typed formenting (incorrectly) and it offered me fermenting and fomenting instead.... and I considered whether I enjoyed to foment or ferment and liked the latter. It evoked images of the sort of conversations people have with 'that bloke down the pub'
I apprecitate this may have been lost a little in translation, but in the UK - a lot of our most extreme right wing positions are to be found in the local pub. Usually in a very specific chain of pubs. :o)
You were right, it was a spelling error - but that's what i love about English. You can usually chuck in a brand new phrasal verb and it'll still work ;o)
