It’s a big stretch by the defence lawyer and the judge shut it down pretty fast– I don’t think it’ll pass the appeal either but by the same tokens it was an unnecessary own-goal by a seasoned politician who should’ve known she’d be taken out of context and used as a political football.

I am indeed a Brit, we handed our language over to the US sometime ago in good working order and you’ve dropped all the U’s everywhere, swapped all the C’s for S’s and worst of all – invented the word fanny-pack.
