It's a fair position to take - but I think it's very unlikely that you have 75 million stupid people in the US all of whom voted Trump, whilst everyone who voted Democrat is of above average intelligence and made the right choice. This feels like your interpretation of the data may be skewed with confirmation bias and your own feelings.
If around half the elligible voters in your country vote 'stupidly' then there is either something wrong with half the voters, there's something wrong with the voting system, or there's something wrong with the message the opposition to Trump is putting out. Given the statistical anomaly required to create 75 million sub-par people voting the same way rather than staying at home and licking their own elbows - I'd suggest it's probably the latter two.
In which case, more questions are needed about the democratic system you have in place and some difficult questions need to be raised about why the Democratic mandate isn't appealing as much as I did before- the data seems like a good place for those questions to begin.
