It's a smart move - and it's the one I'd be considering if I were running the Republican campaign. If you run Ivanka against Harris then you're no longer voting along sex as an issue. It's the smart play. Secondly, in that scenario, I think Ivanka would win - and the Republicans get their own Maggie Thatcher moment.
