It's been a slow and steady upwards trend for 4 years. When you zoom out from month to month and look at it that way. The problem with larger audience writers is that I think they earn exponentially more than they should in the first instance and then get disheartened when it turns out to be unsustainable.... I don't think that's what's happened to Linda, but I think that's what we're seeing with people like Jessica Wildfire, Tom Kuegler, and Marley K. Their financial standing goes up but not at pace with their output. I'd consider it a Zeitgeist bonus if I suddenly jumped up my earnings - it isn't the new floor of what I'm worth. :o)
