It's quite shocking when it happens because the vitriol with which they go on the attack can be very damning. There's a seeming inability to separate self from argument that means any form of rational debate becomes impossible. I hope as they get older this generation of kids learns to separate the skillset. I've been somewhat heartened recently by the number of people who have read my work who are turning their back on identity politics because they've realised it made them unhappy, miserable and spoiling for a fight. It feels like a minority are edging themselves back into more nuanced perspectives - but they have to utterly break their psychologies down to get there.

Glad you're enjoying the writing style, it's fun trying to be lighthearted and controversial in equal measure - it's not to everyone's taste but I'm glad it's to yours. :o)
