It's such a lovely place - the significant other Penguin and I arrived on a weekend craft fair thing and fell in love with the place. Then I milked the Colonial experts dry of all their expertise one by one like an information vampire and looked at everything in the museum at least three times. It was intense.

Alas, we were short staying so we didn't get a chance to do Yorktown and Jamestown - and the SOP isn't as historically inclined as me. We did Richmond and then up to Washington and back to NYC to fly out. I'll definitely be back to your neck of the woods though - there's so much interesting history! :o)
