It’s very important indeed. I’m much happier with the quiet faith part of religion that promotes kindness and compassion – and a lot less of the hellfire and brimstone and interfering in politics.

I would say be careful with throwing out the hard hitting stuff too early in your Medium journey. It can be disheartening to put your heart and soul into a story and not have it picked up or distributed to readers who might enjoy it.

It’s one of the traps in my ‘traps for newbies article’ – just be careful writing it doesn’t put You off writing on the platform. It’s no doubt the sort of story that means a lot and needs to be given the best chance to read the biggest readership possible. :o)
