it's worth saying at this point that I am British but I am one of the most keen republicans (anti-monarchists) I know and I have zero love for anyone connected to the Royal Family. I am also liberal and believe people should be allowed to say what they want - and for that reason and that reason alone I'm not going to flag this story to Medium as being explicitly against their ethos. That aside, what you've essentially said here is....'this mother of three children has cancer and I'm glad' based on little more than you interpretation of her behaviour. I think that's entirely repugnant, the fact you've suggested your position is a Christian one is beyond baffling.

My reputation on Medium is for saying what I think and being the honest voice of dissent. So here it is. This piece is morally vacuous and if you've got to the point in your life where you're delighted a young mother has a cancer diagnosis (and looking at the comments section you are not alone) this should perhaps make you consider whether you are part of the problem and not the solution. Your entire take on a young mother having cancer is repugnant, inhumane and positing it as some sort of superior 'gotcha' moment is a real testament to how low the discourse can be pushed. Congrats, you've officially tested my faith in humans, Christianity and hope for the future.
