I've done plenty of reading about this topic and I still don't feel educated enough to make a judgment call about it. There are plenty of people who are far more educated about it than me who would take a similar stance. So put your money where your mouth is, how do you think you're going to solve the issue? Are you going to push for the Two State Solution a la Clinton and the Oslo accords or are you going to wait for Hamas to moderate the views in their charter still further? Is your plan to let Hamas and Fatah duel it out and what do you propose to do about the likely civil war and casualties? What do you plan to do with all the LGBTQ and moderate jewish and arabs in Israel if you endorse the creation of a Palestinian state under an autocratic theocracy.
Some people are uneducated about the matters at hand, those people believe are rhetoric heavy and information light. Some people are very educated but even with the full weight of all the information avaiable and even if you've read all of it, I don't think there's a correct answer. There's the Dunning-Kruger answer, where a simple solution presents itself, but in this particular instance I think the more you know the less inclined you'd be to take a simplistic position.
This has nothing to do with caring. Caring is easy.
