I've just had a look and I'm very pleased to see someone carving out the middle-ground between us. I think (because I do reflect on what you say sometimes) the hierarchy is the issue, which is what Anna has articulated very well. Those at the top of the hierarchy we call capitalism are pretty much immune to cancellation. Trump has weathered the storm, numerous celebrities bounce back. There are very few consequences for their actions - because what is required is a boycott. Instead of insisting upon a well-organised and social boycott, the mob simply move on - and usually lower down the food chain. It's far easier to have some woman behaving 'like a Karen' flung out of her job with a one-sided video with zero context than it is to get a large group together to collectively financially punish an organisation or insist upon social change with genuine results. The mob is hungry, it isn't very bright. Thanks for the recommend, I have followed her. :o)
