I've never written for the income - though it's been lovely to have an interesting side income for a while. I also don't have a niche and I don't really care that I don't. I'll just keep throwing stuff out into the world and hoping for the best. Productive months, non productive months - it doesn't really matter too much to me. I can't write to order and I won't sell my soul and write about things I don't care about.

All in all, I'll just trundle along in my little niche-free way and that'll do me fine. :o)
