I’ve worked in child protection long enough to know the paedophiles we’re finding are the males because they are exactly where we’re looking for them. I’m very concerned about where we aren’t looking.

Some of the most damaged children I worked with were those who suffered significant physical, sexual and psychological abuse at the hands of females in their own family…. Warning signs were more likely to be missed or explained away. It’s a problem society is only just beginning to address and when the floodgates open, it’s going to be a complicated picture. :o/
