JF is James Finn, it was in relation to a discussion I was having with someone who has since blocked me, making this a free-standing piece of writing devoid of context. It's one of the most annoying things that happens on Medium.

Essentially the OP had written a piece that was about how she was a perfect warrior for good and that social justice shouldn't be questioned and I was trying to suggest that perhaps the rights of different groups directly interfere with each other. I was talking about the rights of religious minority groups being at odds with the LGBTQ+ community particularly in education and suggesting there had to be some nuance in the way the two groups were allowed to interact. Essentially there is a difference between what liberals think and what social justice warriors think - and social justice warriors are often very totalitarian in their approach to acceptance. I think the state should be providing free education to all children. It should be compulsory (up to a point) and any parent who wishes to withdraw their child from the state education should demonstrate how they are providing an alternative education of equal quality. That said, education here in the UK seems to often produce kids who get to University but still couldn't think their way out of a paper bag. :o/
