Judgement goes very early on in the process, because it’s linked to a really complicated function of the front part of your brain - what other people think. Most judgment is based on ‘what will other people think’ - and what will be the repercussions of what they think. That’s a huge driver of behaviour - and goes some way to explaining why good pilots are still alive, how many couples first meet, and why my dancing is so dangerous to those in the way. :o)
