Like you I'd much rather deal with a right leaning Conservative I disagree with but who makes sense than deal with a contradictory faux liberal who's enthusiasm to be 'progressive' throws away the very foundations of liberalism.

Even now, lots of people don't get it. I'm often attacked for being a Conservative by those on the left, whilst my Conservative readers suddenly get palpitations when I say things like 'I think America would benefit from socialism' - because they think my ideological divorce from faux-liberals is absolute. I'd like to get to where a lot of liberal people want to go, but I'm sure as fuck not hopping on the Nazi bus to get there. :o)
