It's taken the political Left three years and a crushing election defeat to realise they've been barking up the wrong tree and even now there are still people sticking to this dead-in-the-water ideologue nonsense. Racism is alive and kicking and this sort of thing has simply fanned the flames of it. Those people peddling in skin colour as indicating anything other than an amount of melanin need to be gently and firmly told to stay in and be quiet.
