Mid-20th Century Nazi tactics, I think they're doing worse than the British and American tank divisions.... and only the Nazis after Rommel topped himself. It's been a clusterfuck of all proportions and looks like Putin might have the same issue as the Nazi high command.... self interest, backstabbing, poor communication and outright lying to superiors.

This is a great article and the Russian military has not come out of this looking very competent or useful. If their nuclear arsenal has been maintained as well as their army has, I'm expecting the threat of a nuclear holocaust may only apply to an area the size of a small children's playground, one no further away than Poland (at a push!)
