My Dad can use Google, he can also get into the back end of software and understand the code. He can use google far more efficiently than I can, but bugger me if it isn't the slowest process in the world. I have no doubt the digital children are nowhere near as technologically competent as the generation above - but we're more competent at using the bits your generation wanted us to use.
