My significant other Penguin has very firm views about my feathers which they have made fairly clear. They wouldn't dare tell me what to do with my own body- but their preferences have been announced, repeatedly and without malice. I think it's a Penguin (and human) thing. 9 years of being together does grant certain entitlements I suppose.
