Nah... but if we're going to go down that route of getting people to have 'lived experience' ahead of writing something then we're going to need to keep an eye on a lot more writers. The reality is that research is key and an understanding of how humans think and operate - particularly when it goes wrong will help. When you start suggesting that X writer can't write about Y person you sell creativity short. It looks like a great argument for minority groups to make - but an immediate reversal of the argument will show the inherent flaw. :o)
