Nah, you're all good - he argues like a coked-up muppet... and I say that as someone who is a committed atheist with a strong dislike of organised religions overall. It's not that he's necessarily wrong on some of the things he's saying - it's just he's not prepared to hear any arguments to the contrary or entertain their validity. He's too easily triggered and arguing from emotion rather than rationality.
I have a friend who argued with me about how much of an infidel I was when I refused to entertain the idea that Islam was a universal good for the world. Now she has moved away from her faith and she's not listening to me tell her that Islam isn't a universal force for bad in the world. These people, burned as they are by their life experiences, do far more damage to their argument position than they realise.
Given the choice of spending ten minutes with him or two days with a moderate Jewish kiwi, I'd always opt for Salsa. I always opt for salsa anyway, guacamole is gross and I will brook no dissent on that matter! :o)
