No. People obsessed with skin colour live in two separate bubbles and cannot talk to each other effectively. I have no interest in what colour skin a half-fish woman has, I don't care.... but at some point everyone wanted us to care about the colour of who played whom, because there was an over focus by society on skin colour.
This leads people to hold contradictory positions that are entirely incoherent over the long term. If you're happy with a Black Anne Boleyn and I don't see any reason not to be - then you also have to be happy with a white Nelson Mandela. You cannot insist upon skin colour as not important when it works one way, and of vital importance to worldwide happiness when it works the other way.
People who obsess over skin colour are continuing the generate the problem. Racism and anti-racism are two sides of the same stupidity coin.
