Nobody's opinion really matters outside of the courtroom - becuase the legal system set up doesn't let us overturn the results of a legal case by virtue of our opinions on it.

You can be vocal about disagreeing with it - and you're correct, the correct course of action would be to amend the laws. Laws can be amended but those (as you've pointed out) frequently require a revolution or two.

Raising your voices isn't wrong per se, but that's not how a democracy functions. Changes have to be voted in by those appointed to do so. If you disagree with the direction of the people appointed then you vote in new people. You as an individual citizen have every right to complain about the law - but you cannot change it by shouting at the judicial system.

Systemic change or civil revolution. Those are the options facing Americans
