Not at all. Because you have already decided any sources I provide would be not reputable or Israeli propaganda. It is a pointless exercise. We will be quibbling over the details of an event which we both agreed happened. There was a military incursion and civilians were killed - the rest is arguing deckchairs on the Titanic. It misses the bigger picture.
Now we can have a discussion about whether or not the attack was justified, but I don’t believe the indiscriminate killing of civilians is ever justified. Nor, do I believe (in most cases) do you. There is a particular narrative at play in this conflict in which the participants attempt to present a binary and which most people buy into.
I do not.
I do not have to prove babies were burned, nor would I even want to go looking for such evidence. I am satisfied an invasion targeting civilians happened and I am dismayed at the lack of condemnation from the political left because they are ‘my team’.
The political right will already be calling for the absolute destruction of Gaza - and I want to point at them and say ‘that is an unreasonable position.’ - having liberals tacitly support the targeting of civilians is disheartening.
