Not really - faux liberalism is taking anything other than a liberal position and pretending it's liberal in nature. Liberal has a live-and-let live approach to how it operates, when you start taking the fight to the man then chances are you'll be using your approach to restrict the freedoms of someone else to express themselves. That ain't liberal. Prob the best way I can demonstrate faux liberalism is an old exchange I had a while back about Trans rights. https://medium.com/lucid-nightmare/whack-a-woke-james-finn-special-86d6cb79aa11
We do live under a white epistemology and I cannot dispute that - nor can I dispute that most of what the world is based around is centred around white law. That includes democracy, the rule of law and the enlightenment.... what I'd challenge people to do is find any other emergent system they'd prefer. Sharia law as practiced in the Middle East? Communism as practiced in China or North Korea? There is a bias towards white ideas of liberal democracy but there's also a rush of people determined to get to a white structured liberal democracy and it ain't just cos of the money. If you're gay in Africa then you'd get the first boat over to Europe the second you could - and I would too. Who knows, perhaps I did?
I'm not worried about the feelings of white people - I am worried about the complacency many extremists have towards the fragility of democracy itself. Throughout history many groups have never had it so good as they do now - it's not great, but it's certainly better than anywhere else in the world and anywhere else in history. The bashing of democracy because it isn't exactly as X group wants it to be for their exact group needs is a fundamentally flawed way of thinking about pluralism.
Once the fight is complete - you may find as Robspierre and Lenin did, that you become (or make way for) the monsteryou were trying to fight. Complete liberation is the antithesis of compromise and that's what a liberal democracy is. There aren't many victorious leaders who have the courage to go home once they've conquered the world - George Washington (for his faults) was one of them.
As for hating me or liking me - you are welcome to do both. You are welcome to move from one state to another. You are welcome to fluctuate.... as long as you don't infringe upon the collective rights one way or the other then liberals don't mind. :o)
