Nothing wrong with disagreeing with me - plenty of people do and I'm fine with that. I think there are two methods of getting to end racism - you can either lean into identity arguments or you can lean into socialism. I argue vehemently for the latter because I think taking wealth and distributing it more fairly will lead to better outcomes for the next generation of poor people - a disproportionate number of whom are Black and brown.

Leaning into identity can breed the sort of writer that Suque is and makes the world an infinitely more racist place. Possibly not intentionally. Sure the base agreement orientated readers feels empowered and can leave a 'hell yeah' style comment but it engenders a racial backlash from any passing white folks with an agenda... as well as turning off passing moderates of all hues.

But come debate with me, I've never seen your name crop up (I don't think) - so let's see if we can get that 99% disagreement all the way down to 75%.
