Oh dear god, it's not a virtue signal wink.... it's because I'm about as popular as fart in a space suit with minority-groups on Medium.

As these pieces (and others) demonstrate, I usually take an anti-identity politics stance in most of my writing. I think it's entirely misguided as a method of change, something which puts me at odds with many other race-writers on the platform.
Long story short, this line wasn't a 'praise me for my virtue' it was a comedy 'wtf is happening here?' for my regular readers. Those people who will be confused I've uttered any argument seemingly in support of identarian movements. However, as i think this article demonstrates, you cannot argue for equality and fairness in society and also argue for monarchy - something all the super-duper wokey-white-folks seem to be doing. They want to listen and clap race writers because they all have BLM stickers, and they want to make the world a better place, but they also like waving the Union Jack and celebrating the Monarchy and don't see any Empire-based-contradiction with that.
I find the entire thing infuriating.
Also, I don't expect to be any more popular at all with anyone. Popular isn't what Penguins strive to be - I suspect my sarcastic British turn of phrase doesn't translate well. Ho hum. Never mind. Good to see your name pop up again. By all means come back and hold me accountable for my British nonsense.
