Okay, first question.... how you do you get a statistical breakdown of your followers? All other things aside I enjoy a graph and I want to know the breakdown of my 4K frosty collective as I have no idea. Is 60% just a guess or do you have a Medium button that does this.... and if so where do I find it?
It may not be a fembot army, but when was the last time you actually engaged in conversation with anyone who had the temerity to disagree or question - instead of just drumming them with more articles from your back catalogue. I just read a thread where you gave a guy short shrift for trying to ascertain whether females started wars. You and I both know they do and he was confused; the guy has FASD and presents as autistic as a result. I know this because when he showed up on my wall, I went and I read his bio and read his stories. He needed an explanation he could understand, you gave him a lecture because you thought he was tiresome. So yeah, you've got the goods, the science, the data, the logical analysis - but that doesn't make you good at sharing it in a way that is conducive for community improvement.
I think Medium is a place built for discussion and that's what I prefer to generate. I like seeing multiple views on any given topic all in the same comments section and the interesting discussions which spring from thatl, and I think everyone has interesting things to add regardless of their expertise or their viewpoint. However, we can firmly agree we have different approaches to discussion, different styles of work and that both our articles whilst well written (albeit in different ways) are not to each other's respective tastes. No harm, no foul. We can walk away - and I shall do exactly that. Time for coffee and scripts. :o)
