Okay. I have no idea what gender woo is. I thought it was a spelling mistake last time but clearly not. There were no insults given, there were no points scored – this whole exchange has been baffling. It sounds like the language you’re using and the points you’re making have come straight from a very niche echo chamber in which the rules are very specific. Policing the discourse and gender woo might work there and I’m sure the politics of such a place are very complex and nuanced – but insisting those linguistic rules of good and evil apply in the real world will get you short shrift from pretty much everyone else.
Here’s an example of why.
The word woo is derived from the word ‘wood’ – as someone who understands the position of dryads and tree spirits in general, I insist you stop using it. For one thing it suggests an incompletenesses of being. Secondly, it’s half of woo-woo – the Sims word for ‘sex’ and implies a sexual difference that dryads aren’t able to enjoy. Now if you don’t know what I’m talking about, I suggest you do more research. But you should know that ‘woo’ used the way you’re using it is morally wrong. You shouldn’t do it. It’s wrong. Three times you’ve used it now.
