Okay.... so let us presume this new world you're hoping to create takes place. Any misdemeanour caught on camera by another member of the public and presented in the court of public opinion can be used as grounds for dismissal. Accountability. Not to any legal standard, but to the mob.
It's not about lacking accountability.... because that's what the law is for and what legislation is for. In your country there need to be legal shifts to hold employers accountable to avoid the sort of situation you have described. That's a different argument to a surveillance based bun fight. And ultimately I think accountability to Orwellian surveillance by interested parties will come back and bite non-white folk on the ass. There's more white folk prepared to act as extra-judiciary police officers than there are minority groups - and if termination of contract via social media becomes the norm I think we're in a whole world of pain.
For what it's worth on Cooper vs Cooper I think both of them behaved pretty badly. Anyone trying to feed any of the dogs I walk without my consent would be punched - but I wouldn't call the police either.
You can absolutely go to town on the centrist-Penguin view if you like... it's here. https://medium.com/p/2ea00a72efb2
