Once again, if you took the average illiterate white working class factory worker in Liverpool in 1804 and you asked them about geopolitics, I’m sure they wouldn’t have much of a clue. In the same way that if you took the average impoverished Black worker in Detroit today and told them about Bangladeshi workers rights they either wouldn’t know, or have the brain space to care.
