One of the best things about being a Penguin is that it allows everyone to see the phantom identity that gets attacked by the bias of an angry reader. I never said I was male, you decided I’m male, I never said I was educated, you’ve inferred it. But, in your comments, you’ve demonstrated who you need me to be and what exact sort of person you’re angry at. That’s on you. If you feel lectured at or inferior because you’re reading me that way, that’s still on you. I write what I think and I say what I consider to be true. I do so unapologetically and I’ll defend my position.

I can’t defend myself against how you feel about my writing or ideas - it’s not compulsory to enjoy it. I also can’t defend myself against the general rage against educated men you’ve got - because, as discussed, I’m a penguin.
