Ooooh interesting - isn't there a legal challenge available around removing the name of the author? Flom might not be passing the work off as their own, but they also have removed attribution - admittedly you'd have to live on the moon to not know Harry Potter was written by JK Rowling.

As someone who collects first editions (yes I am THAT sort of human) I have a particular love a well bound book and there is very much a craft to it. :o)
