There's the bit that is most applicable to what you're talking about. it's not a good idea to upfront dismiss an article without reading it first.
I'd also say the neurotypical argument is unrelated but I'd say the same argument applies. What happens to autistic people when everyone can self-identify as autistic is that those who are most in need of help and assistance will find that assistance eroded by a lack of clarity both medically and socially.
This piece is not questioning the right of individuals to exist, it questions whether we're framing the world the right way - I would suggest reading the article throughly and then coming back for a wider discussion. It sounds like you have strong feelings about the issue and will raise some good points. At the moment you are raising points in a sort of scatter-gun approach to things I haven't written.
