The more important question is this…. Should Simon be believed without question at the point he makes his accusation? Should guilt be attributed to Daphne in the public sphere on his word alone? Should guilt be inferred before you make this compelling legalistic argument in her defence, or after?

I know what the answer is when it comes to Simon, but I’m not convinced that many who read this will apply the same ethical code across the board.
