Penguins are indeed black under the Walter Plecker rules of classification but I'll ask around and see what the other penguins think.

I prefer to think of race as a spectrum rather than binary. It's an arbitrary measure of melanin in the skin + individual cultures and histories that inform who a persron is. I'm all for culture sharing when it's done respectfully and with care.

I'm not a fan of binary thinking around race. I think it breeds competition rather than cooperation and leads to an intuitive 'us vs them' mentality. That intuitive style of thinking is very prevalent in human beings and never leads to good places.
