Perhaps people aren't woke or unwoke. Perhaps, just perhaps, people want to get through their lives without constantly subdividing society into meaningless brackets based on arbitrary features. Perhaps, every step you've taken on this 'woke' journey is simply a philosophical non-starter that reduces your capacity to engage with reality. Perhaps it will leave you with anxiety as you attempt to navigate your self worth through the eyes of a million strangers on the internet.

Perhaps walking along this road makes you feel better about yourself. Perhaps you take some comfort from being further along this road than the 'newly woke' and you're enjoying the virtue signalling and dopamine that comes from being further down the road than others and getiting praise. But perhaps, just perhaps, this is really a road to nowhere and the best thing to do wasn't to start on this convoluted and contradictory journey at all.
