Power dynamics do exist - but they are offset in a court of law. That's how a law court works. The power dynamic between these people was considered as part of the trial.
And yes, power dynamics do exist outside of the court room - but then we play an endless game of fuckabout Susan on what constitutes important in power dynamics- and it becomes a reductionist shit-show of competing agendas. When you throw the 'age question' as happened here, what you're really doing is casting aspersions on women's ability to make bad choices - I've come out against it before and I'll come out against it again.
