Rape is about power. It is a weapon of war and a weapon of terror. It’s also a complication of terrible inter generational mental health and or criminal disempowerment as well as sociopathy/psychopathy. The problem cannot be resolved by men or by women, it has to be resolved dispassionately and productively by those who can influence the levers of human behaviour. To make this a gendered problem is to play neatly into the power games which are exacerbating the problem.

Feminism has become us/them - this is part of the problem.
