Round here I had to get up at about 6am to walk any dogs the SOP and were looking after. Once we got to about 10am it was too hot for their little paws and they needed to stay in the shade.... apart from one black flat coat retriever called Lola, she was determined to be in the sun as much as she could. And as the song goes, whatever Lola wants, Lola gets. Had to keep her inside after a while because her behaviour wasn't sane. Never try and section a flat-coat retriever is one of my lessons of 2022.
