Namely, that she has brushed over the statistical difference between liberal feminists and radical feminists in her summary. I didn’t say this was a statistical gulf…. Rather, that it bore looking at in further detail to understand perhaps why men have disengaged. These voices I’m suggesting have a disproportionate amount of airtime and influence in the social media world relative to their insight.

Three seconds later you have screeched into the conversation to yell at me about statistics. I registered no surprise about this, I see you regularly leaving 💯 on feminist pieces and often aggressively asserting ‘men are the problem’ with any men who ever respond to these pieces in good faith. Usually in an argumentative way - I don’t mind this of course, arguing is entirely my jam when done properly. You’re not doing it properly.

Now, to demonstrate my point further, you’ve written a rant against a position I never took. My position isn’t that feminists hate men - my position is that some feminists get disproportionate airtime even though their feelings about men are outside of the bellcurve. To follow up that rant, you’ve now written an article calling out your version of my imaginary position and funnelling people back here to see what a bad man I am (even though I am a Penguin).

To say this is a pyrrhic victory would be an overstatement, you have demonstrated perfectly the point I have made about how the feminist position is undermined by the radical posturing in the social media sphere. You also remain entirely oblivious of this fact - and until other feminists are prepared to acknowledge this is a problem, then men (more generally) and Penguins specifically cannot in good faith join the feminist movement.
